I started this blog while on my maternity leave, over 5 years ago now. It was a way for me to have some self care, time for myself and to find like minded people to bond with while at home. The blog started as more fashion oriented and I was under the impression my blog had to have a specific niche to attract and keep an audience, but once I returned to work keeping up with constant photoshoot’s for creating fashion blog posts became too much. I started to share a little bit more of my personal stories, like motherhood and general life perspectives. A few years back, I also suffered a terrible loss in my life and the blog has now taken on the form of outlet for that grief. I still adore my basic bitch stuff, but I’m also trying to connect more with people on an emotional level. Grief is very isolating so I want people to know they aren’t alone in their grief journey. I’ve also focused more in the last year on my obsession with pop culture, you’ll find lots of that over on my Tik Tok and Instagram, with a few posts here on the blog also!
