DO WE REALLY SEE MOM'S?

Do we really see mom’s?

All the things they do?

Or do we just see and judge the things we don’t see them doing or, better yet, think they should be doing?

You see or judge the mom who doesn’t make enough home cooked meals for their family, but that’s because she’s busy running kids from one activity to the other.

You see the mom who doesn’t do enough crafts or playtime with her child, but that’s because she’s a full time working mom who prepares for the week ahead on the very limited time she has on the weekends.

You see the mom who lets her child watch to much television, but she does this because she knows she’ll have an hour of interrupted time while she cleans the house.

Why are we so quick to see the things a mother isn’t doing but ignore all the things she has done?

No wonder as mother’s we put so much pressure on ourselves. No wonder a lot of mom’s think they are failing as mother’s. It seems the people surrounding mom’s only point out what they see we aren’t doing for our children and family’s. All the small mundane BUT necessary things that need to be done by a mother get completely dismissed. All because she isn’t doing something someone else thinks she should be doing.
